Oklahoma Access to Justice Foundation

Meaningful access to justice for all Oklahomans.

Improving Access to Justice in Oklahoma

Founded in 2018, the Oklahoma Access to Justice Foundation serves as a convener, collaborator, and advocate to increase meaningful participation in a civil justice system that is fair and accessible to all. We work to challenge a status quo where most civil legal needs go unmet, and instead focus on building solutions that are practical, equitable, and centered on real people’s experiences.

The Access to Justice Foundation's creation was a recommendation of the Oklahoma Access to Justice Commission of the Oklahoma Supreme Court, which worked to develop and implement policy initiatives designed to expand access to and enhance the quality of justice in civil legal matters for low-income Oklahoma residents from 2014 til its sunsetting in 2023.
